Chris 'Woman Beater" Brown Apologizes

Yesterday Chris Brown released a video statement in which he apologized to all of his fans and asked for their forgiveness. He stated that he "wanted to make a public apology earlier." However he also said that he was 'advised by his lawyers not to.' I know as well as any other person who stays updated on current events that Chris Brown grew up in a home where there was domestic violence. But I don't think that should serve as an excuse. When you BEAT your significant other you shouldn't be giving excuses you should just shut up and accept the consequences that come with your retarded actions. Now they're saying that he could possibly get 4 years in prison, but let's face it...he's a celebrity! My guess: He'll get about 2 months in prison, then he'll get either house arrest, probation, or community service. Do you agree, or have a different opinion? Let me know and leave a comment!!
